Історичні основи ідентичності Української Греко-Католицької Церкви у богословській думці Йосифа Сліпого (1892–1984)

Abstract

На основі опрацювання наукових і пастирських праць Йосифа Сліпого розглядається роль першоієрарха Української Креко-Католицької Церкви в утверджені и збереженні церковної самооутності УГКЦ, простежується вплив на її формування та утвердження різноманітних політичних та церковних ооставин іяк-от заборона УГКЦ в СРСР, діяльність Сліпого в Римі й серед повоєнної української діаспори).

The article examines the Role of Josyf Slipyj in the formation and the development of the identity of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. The author demonstrates that being part of the eastern tradition and the Catholic Church was according to Slipyj two important factors that defined the ecclesiastical identity of the UGCC. The forming of this identity influenced all Siipyis reforms and is stiii the main indicator in the development of the UGCC in the independent Ukraine.
