Abstract

In the context of a research of ethnogenesis of Carpathian region and the history of formation of poliellmic structure of local population it is necessary to study the penetration to Transcarpathia of the ethnic Russians, that was connected with Russian state interests and military and political events, since the beginning of XVIII century and till the end of the second world war. In the article for the first time the attempt is made to collect material on the presence of Russians in the region, their influence on the development of social and political events, formation of national consciousness of the local Russinian population.
