Відповідь щитовидної залози у хворих з хронічними обструктивними захворюваннями легень на вплив паводкової стихії на Закарпатті

Abstract

Investigations of the thyroid glad function at 65 patients with chronic obstructive lungs diseases, who had undergone the influence of disaster (flood) in Transcarpathia allowed to reveal that the mentioned diseases are characterized bу high frequency of changes in the function of thyroid gland. The frequency of disturbances in thyroid system depended on the ІеvеІ of iodine endemia. It was higher in mountainous regions of Transcarpathia. Using of artificial aerosol of rocksalt contributes to the normalization of thyroid system function in all patients, this effect was higher in patients, who live in lowland and have more favourable iodine provizion. It is necessary to work out new treatment complex with iodine correction for patients, who live in conditions of ecological iodine deficit.
