Організація ургентного оперативного лікування хворих з розірваними аневризмами черевного відділу аорти

Abstract

About 40% of patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) die before admission to the hospital. The next 40-50% of patients who react a hospital die in the perioperative period or in 30 days after surgery. 172 patients underwent a surgical procedure in the Department of Vascular Surgery in Lviv, Ukraine, between 1.01.1988 and 1.01.2001. 57 patients of them had AAA with retro-peritoneal rupture. The 1.5-4 hours postponement of operative procedure of the patients with retro-peritoneal rupture of AAA can decrease perioperative mortality rate. During the time patients were intensively treated and prepared for surgical procedure and ultrasonography examination enabled to choose proper surgical technique.
