Abstract

The author considers the issues of needs assessment as a basis for the pianning and provision of social services to families with children, who five in complicated fife conditions. The author states, that new technology of social work has appeared, which allows social workers to provide social services to clients on the comparatively new level of professional competence. The positive characteristics of the system of social services provision to clients on the basis of their needs is obvious: * deeper interaction of and partnership of a social service and a client: * higher self-esteem of a client; qualitatively provided services, defined on the basis of needs of a client, raise a positive image of both organisation and a social worker.
