Характеризується специфіка роботи ісламських і традиційних банків. Висвітлюються основні вимоги, що висуваються до роботи банків в мусульманських країнах. Досліджуються відмінності в системі кредитування, заснованій на принципах шаріату та західній моделі кредитної діяльності. Вивчаються проблеми та перспективи подальшого розвитку ісламського банківництва.
