Геополітична стратегія Польщі постсоціалістичного періоду

Abstract

The establishment of polish independent geopolitics was happening in rather difficult conditions: the country needed to lose completely from its socialistic past and to find a new model of further state external politics. In such conditions country needed to avoid an internal disruption of the nation, hold a pro-wester vector of external politics development, enter, as soon as possible, to the western economic and military-political blocs to ensure the state security and self-defence. The status of Poland as a member of EU and NATO means not only the ultimate entrance to the, so called, western community but also becoming of Poland the negotiator in collaboration with the western Europe and Central-Eastern Europe. By that means the country proves its geopolitical leadership among countries of former communistic community in the Central-Eastern Europe.
