Теоретичне підґрунтя використання поняття "гібридний політичний режим" в контексті аналізу перехідних процесів (транзиту політичних режимів) на пострадянському просторі

Abstract

A peculiar type of political regimes has formed in a number of former Soviet Union republics. The above regimes combine to a certain extent elements of authoritarian and democratic regimes, which compelled investigators to resort to various conceptual innovations for the sake of comprehension and adequate explanation of this phenomenon. One of the above-mentioned innovations became the application of the “hybrid political regime” notion. At the same time using this notion in the context of analyzing political regime’s transformation on post-soviet territory needs answers to a number of questions, which directly are connected with the problem of theoretical basis and empirical adequacy of usage of this category. Therefore all issues listed above are exam-ined in this article.
