Місцева демократія як чинник консолідації політичних режимів у країнах Центральної та Східної Європи

Abstract

The author of the article make the review of the existing theoretical approaches towards study of democracy in the CEE region, especially in the context of the interdependence between the state of the local democracy and the level of the political regime’s consolidation on the national scale. The article also deals with the definition of the main hot problems of the comparative democratization studies; dominating tendencies in the study of factors that are supportive for the democratic regimes consolidation; with the specifics of the democratic transforma-tions in the CEE countries; the author is proposing the review of the current state of the local democracy com-parative research in the above mentioned region.
