Дилеми мовної політики України в контексті етнополітичного досвіду країн Центрально-Східної Європи

Abstract

The article studies some aspectsof language legislation in the countries ofCentral and Eastern Europe. Detailed attention is devoted to the theme of language rights of ethnic minorities in Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia and Romania. The authors conclude, that despite certain shortcomings of the language legislation of Ukraine, the rights of ethnic minorities in their native language are responsibleto the requirements of European countries. In addition research shows that in many cases, the Ukrainian legislation is more liberal than in Russia, Slovakiaand Romania. The authors conclude, that fan the flames of the «language problem» in Ukraine is used to serve for public thoughts direction to another way from the discussion economic problems of the current government. Оn the other hand, contributes to destabilization of thesociety of Ukraine.
