dc.description.abstractThe Schrödinger formalism of the continuum-distorted-wave (CDW) method is used for the analysis of capture with ionization in the region of intermediate and high particle-collision velocities. Based on CDW method with the correct Coulomb asymptotic conditions in both channels of the reaction, an analytical expression for the capture process with ionization is obtained. The proposed formalism is tested on the example of cross section of the capture with ionization in the collision of a helium atom with protons. The results obtained are shown to be in good agreement with experimental data. products. This theory can be applied to study the influence of Coulomb interactions in the final state on angular and energy distributions of the products of a charge-transfer reactions at intermediate collision energies.uk
