Порівняльний аналіз словацької та української політологій

Abstract

The article deals with the topicality of learning politology the two neighbouring countries as students from different nationalities study in highei establishments of the Transcarpathia. The students of the Slovak nationality frequently have their practice in Slovakia and have the possibility of getting acquainted with scientific publications and manuals. The author briefly illustrates the history of this science in neighbouring countries and their peculiarities. Well known in the Transcarpalhia are the manuals by R.Tovt «Fundamentals 0 Politology (Man in Politics)»; M.Hraviks and Letsa «Talks on Political Science», «Political Science as a Social Science», «Political System», Y.Lidyak V.Kohanova «Politology, a collection of scientific articles «Ideology oriented at Prague in the Second Millemum» (articles by M.Hrubova, I. Dudinska, V.Dudinsky et al.). However, it is stressed that Slovak didactic literature has some distinctive features m comparison with Ukrainian. Methods and functions of politology, functions of political systems, functions of state, and various approaches to the typification of political systems are not so monotonously highlighted. In Slovak manuals such themes as civil society and political life, policy am morality, policy and mass media, political ideology etc. are not taken into account. The common round-table meetings participation of Slovak am Ukrainian politologies ans students would be advantageous.
