Abstract

The basis for balneotherapeutic treatment of the psoriatic patients at Cunigunda lake is use of mud and hypersalt solution. We suppose that another significant therapeutic factor is influence of Halobacterium Halophilum, which is present in the lake water. The presence of these bacteria influences the chemical characteristics of the lake water. Bacteriobiopsin (photosensi­tive protein of the bacteria membrane) is strong transformer of the light energy, it is аbІе to provide the photosensibilisation, which is а significant compound of the treatment.
