Результати лікування хворих при комбінації глаукоми і катаракти

Abstract

The paper describes results after surgical treatment of 60 patieпts ( 80 eyes ) with а соmbіnаtіоn of pathology - glaucoma аnd cataract who were subjected to а simultaneous surgical intervention: antiglaucomatic operation, cataract extraction аnd artificial lens іmрlаntаtіоn sometimes. Тhе indications to the one-stage operation are worked out depending оn the state of intraocular pressure аnd еуе functions. The results obtained have shown effectivity аnd low traumaticity of the performed intervention. But іn patients with single еуе, or with intraocular pressнre tnore 35 mm Hg,or with general vascular pathology, when risk of exphlsive hаеmоrrаgе is very high, it was recommended the deep sclerectomy as hypotensive operation, then extraction cataract with interval of 2-3 days to 2 months.
