| dc.description.abstract | 98 patients with essential hypertension associated with coronary heart disease were exarnined. The effectiveness of Carvedilol in these patients with congestive heart failure or without it was studied. We noted well-defined hypotensive and antiischemic effect of 4-weeks treatment with carvedilol. It tumed out that in patients with systolic dysfunction reduction of left ventricular volumes and increasing of ejection fraction were greater than in patients with normal systolic function. We also did not note any serious side effects. | uk |
