Abstract

It lias been estimated that stimulation of thyroid gland bу the unsaturated fatty asids increases production of bile asids (salts) from cholesterol аnd excretion of bile's cholesterol. The high phospholipids ( cholesterol) ratio in memoranes increases its fluidity, cross-membrane movement of oxygen, therefore low-density lipoprotein's catabolism is accelerated. The diet with а high content of polyunsaturated fatty scids causes decreasiпg іn chlosterol's content of low density lipoproteins.
