dc.description	The author focuses on the importance of the dialogue of cultures method in foreign language teaching at higher educational establishments, on teaching philological students English speech etiquette as a mean of intercultural communication. dc.description.abstract	У статті вказано на важливість методу діалогу куль- тур у процесі викладання іноземних мов у вищих навчальних закладах, розглянуто питання навчання студентів-філоло- гів англійського мовленнєвого етикету як засобу міжкуль- турної комунікації. Підкреслюється необхідність вивчення мовленнєвого етикету, оскільки він є одним із показників між- особистісних відносин у мові, важливим компонентом куль- тури та невід’ємною частиною загальної системи етичної поведінки у суспільстві.
