Концепт БОРЩ в національній лінгвокультурі українців (на матеріалі фразеології)

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано особливості мовної репрезентації концепту БОРЩ засобами фразеології української мови. Визначено коло мовознавців, зацікавлених питаннями концептуальної лінгвістики, звернено увагу на ті напрацювання в когнітивній лінгвістиці, які сприяють висвітленню тих чи тих концептів, уточнюють уже сформовані й описані концептосфери, актуалізують питання типології концептів тощо. Інтерес сучасної україністики до вивчення проблем культурно-національної специфіки мовних одиниць, а відтак і взаємодії мови і культури, мови й мислення аргументують актуальність вибору теми пропонованої наукової розвідки. На тлі буремних подій сьогодення мовно-культурний фронт набуває неабиякої ваги, а війна за культурно-національне багатство, традиції, звичаї, ідентичність загалом має певною мірою виграватися на сторінках наукових праць. Визначено, що національна кухня в такому розумінні здійснює трансляцію етнокультурних сенсів, а окремі страви постають як культурно-історичні символи народу. Зауважено, що в кожній національній кухні існують усталені концепти, що виникли у процесі комунікації. У роботі розглянуто вербальне вираження концепту БОРЩІ у зв'язку із вилученням інформації про досліджуваний фрагмент концептуальної системи зі словників різних типів (словник знаків української етнокультури) і визначення особливостей його репрезентації в мові (словники загальномовної та ареальної фразеології). Особливу увагу приділено характеристикам семантики та структури фразеологічних одиниць, зокрема компонентному складу цих виразів. З'ясовано, що фразеологічний рівень мови вербалізує ознаки концепту БОРЩ за допомогою таких зворотів, що ілюструють різні життєві ситуації, розкривають окремі риси характеру українців, озвучують норми поведінки, моральні приписи, показують матеріальний світ крізь призму гастрономічної культури. Такі одиниці у своїй сукупності створюють загальний образ мовця, підкреслюють його психоментальні риси, репрезентують мовну картину світу.

The paper focuses on the linguistic peculiarities of representing the concept of BORSH by means of the Ukrainian phraseology. It identifies the group of linguists dealing with the issues of conceptual linguistics. Moreover it summarizes the research in cognitive linguistics that contribute to the elucidation of certain concepts, clarifying already formed concept spheres, updating some issues of concept typology. The interest of modern Ukrainian studies, investigating the problems of cultural and national specificity of language units, as well as the interaction of language and culture, language and thinking, show the necessity of the proposed research. Taking into consideration the background of turbulent present day events, the linguistic and cultural front is gaining considerable weight, and the war for cultural and national wealth, traditions, customs, and identity in general must be won on the pages of scientific works. It is determined that national cuisine in this sense transmits ethnic and cultural meanings, and certain dishes appear as national cultural and historical symbols. It is noted that in each national cuisine there are established concepts that arose in the process of communication. Ukrainian borsch is one of the Ukrainian ethnomarkers. The paper examines the verbal expression of the concept of BORSH based on the analysis of the information given on this notion of the conceptual system taken from the dictionaries of various types (the dictionary of signs of the Ukrainian ethnoculture) and determines the features of its representation in the language (universal dictionaries and local phraseology dictionaries). It is found that the phraseological level of the language verbalizes the features of the concept of BORSH with the help of such phrases that illustrate various life situations, revealing individual character traits of Ukrainians, their voice norms of behavior, moral rules, describing the material world through the prism of gastronomic culture. The results of the analysis of language material indicate the peculiarities of the traditional Ukrainian cuisine. The concept, represented by set expressions, reflects the ethnic specificity of views on food, naturally reproduces the value system of the Ukrainian ethnic group.
