Переваги використання інформаційних інновацій під час навчання іноземної мови

Abstract

У межах статті проаналізовано основні форми та напрями використання інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій у процесі навчання іноземної мові студентів, охарактеризовано переваги використання інформаційних інновацій, сформульовано окремі пропозиції щодо розширення напрямів використання ІКТ в навчальному процесі вищого навчального закладу. Окремо розглядається термін «технології навчання» в сучасному розумінні, а також інформаційні та комунікаційні технології як особливі пристрої та механізми для навчання. Зазначено, що методичним змістом сучасного заняття з іноземної мови є набуття студентами комунікативної компетенції – здатності користуватися мовою залежно від конкретної ситуації. Основне завдання методики викладання іноземної мови – сприяти опануванню студентами знань і вмінь спілкування в усній і писемній формах відповідно до завдань і соціальних норм мовленнєвої поведінки в типових сферах і ситуаціях. Особлива увага для вирішення поставленого завдання належить комп’ютеру як найважливішому сучасному пристрою ІКТ. Крім того, інформаційні інновації є засобом інтерактивного спілкування між різними мовними групами, а Інтернет відіграє центральну роль у цьому процесі й дає змогу в умовах усе більш глобалізованого світу швидко й ефективно спілкуватися та співпрацювати, створювати інформацію, обмінюватися й керувати нею в професійному житті. Найбільш поширеним засобом ІКТ є використання мультимедійних технологій під час навчання іноземної мови студентів. Мультимедійні технології становлять особливі інтелектуальні засоби діяльності й мають низку переваг порівняно з іншими інформаційними інноваціями, зокрема є основою дистанційного навчання, забезпечують доступ до передових методів виховання й навчання широкої педагогічної громадськості завдяки всесвітній мережі Інтернет і розгалуженої комунікаційної мережі, створюють штучну мовленнєве середовище, підтримують і вдосконалюють лінгвістичні здібності студентів, являють собою педагогічний засіб покращення змісту й методів навчання та виховання студентської молоді в умовах вищого навчального закладу.

Within this article the main forms and directions of the use of information and communication technologies in the process of students’ foreign language learning are analyzed, the advantages of the use of information innovations are characterized, some proposals for expanding the directions of using ICT in the educational process of higher education are formulated. The term “learning technologies” in the modern sense, as well as information and communication technologies as separate devices and mechanisms for learning are considered separately. It is stated that the methodical content of the modern foreign language lesson is the acquisition by students of communicative competence - the ability to use the language depending on the specific situation. The main task of the foreign language teaching method is to facilitate students’ acquisition of oral and written communication skills according to the tasks and social norms of speech behavior in typical spheres and situations. Particular attention is paid to the computer as the most important modern ICT device to accomplish this task. In addition, information innovation is a means of interactive communication between different linguistic groups, and the Internet has played a central role in this process, enabling, in an increasingly globalized world, to quickly and effectively communicate and collaborate, create information, share and manage it in professional life. The most common means of ICT is the use of multimedia technologies in teaching students a foreign language. Multimedia technologies represent special intellectual means of activity and have a number of advantages in comparison with other information innovations, in particular, they are the basis of distance learning, provide access to advanced methods of education and training of the general pedagogical public through the World Wide Web and branched communication network. support and improve students’ linguistic abilities; they are a pedagogical tool for improving the content and teaching methods tion and education of students in terms of higher education.
