Abstract

The reflection spectra are measured and the changes of chlorophyll concentration on the unit of area or weight of plants are found for Datura stramonium L. infected bу potato virus Х (PVX), and Nicotiana debneyi L. protoplasts infected bу tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) are studied. The investigation is carried out during the latent stage of the infection. In particular it is established that the reflection spectra 's changes of infected plants are identical and universal for various viruses and plants. These changes can give а base fог appropriate express-method of remote spectroscopy for diagnostics of phytoviral infection.

Отже, проведені нами дослідження доводять, що зміна спектрів відбиття рослин, інфікованих вірусом, є наслідком впливу інфекції на фотосинтезуючий апарат і дослідження цих змін, безперечно, можуть становити основу спектрометричного дистанційного чи лабораторного експрес-методу діаrностю,и фітовірусної інфекції
