Мовностилістичні засоби у романі Ірен Роздобудько «Я знаю, що ти знаєш, що я знаю…»

Abstract

Мета. Однією з актуальних проблем сучасної лінгвостилістики є дослідження індивідуальних мовних стилів, оскільки кожен письменник використовує певні мовностилістичні засоби для реалізації художнього задуму. Запропонована стаття присвячена аналізу мовностилістичних засобів у романі майстра психологічної прози Ірен Роздобудько «Я знаю, що ти знаєш, що я знаю», що досі не був об’єктом спеціального лінгвостилістичного дослідження. Методи. Основним методом є описовий. Також були застосовані метод суцільної вибірки, статистичний метод і контекстуальний аналіз досліджуваних одиниць з метою з’ясування їхнього функціонально-стилістичного навантаження. Результати. В аналізованому романі письменниця здебільшого використовує епітети, виражені прикметниками, що набувають особливої образності саме в контексті. Залежно від авторської інтенції вжиті епітети можна поділити на кілька тематичних груп, як-от: епітети, що характеризують взаємовідносини між людьми, суб’єктивне ставлення до часу та нових закордонних реалій, зовнішні та внутрішні особливості героїв роману. Особливої виразності епітети набувають у складі метафор, що, своєю чергою, сприяють активізації мислення реципієнтів, дають їм можливість отримати задоволення від пізнання. У мовотворчості Ірен Роздобудько поширеними є метафори, у яких присудок позначає нетипову для неживих суб’єктів дію. Вживання метафоричних конструкцій допомагають авторці максимально наблизити читача до реальних переживань, викликавши в нього відповідні емоції та почуття. Однією з визначальних рис мовотворчості Ірен Роздобудько є широке використання порівнянь, виражених порівняльними зворотами зі сполучниками мов, як, ніби. Вони вживаються для характеристики стосунків між людьми, яскравих внутрішніх та зовнішніх характеристик персонажів. Близькими до порівняння за функціональним призначенням є антитези, що в аналізованому творі побудовані на основі контекстуальних антонімів. Висновки. Використання вищезазначених мовностилістичних засобів допомагають письменниці привернути увагу реципієнтів, спонукати їх до роздумів, викликати бажану реакцію чи оцінку, переконати у слушності висловленої думки, а також створити яскраві незабутні образи.

Purpose. One of the current problems of modern linguistic stylistics is the study of individual language styles, as each writer uses certain linguistic means. The proposed article deals with the analysis of linguistic and stylistic means in the novel by the master of psychological prose Irene Rozdobudko «I know that you know what I know», which has not yet been the subject of a special linguistic and stylistic study. Methods. Methods. The main method is descriptive. The continuous sampling method, the statistical method and the contextual analysis of the studied units were also applied in order to clarify their functional and stylistic load. In the analyzed novel, the writer mostly uses epithets expressed by adjectives that acquire a special imagery in the context. Depending on the author's intention, the epithets used can be divided into several thematic groups, such as: epithets that characterize the relationship between people, the subjective attitude to time and new foreign realities, external and internal features of the novel's characters. Epithets acquire special expressiveness as a part of metaphors which, in turn, promote activization of thinking of recipients, give them the chance to receive pleasure from knowledge. In Irene Rozdobudko's speech, metaphors are common, in which the predicate denotes an action that is not typical for inanimate subjects. The use of metaphorical constructions helps the author to bring the reader as close as possible to real experiences, causing him the appropriate emotions and feelings. One of the defining features of Irene Rozdobudko's language creation is the wide use of comparisons expressed by comparative inversions with conjunctions of languages, as if. They are used to characterize the relationship between people, the bright internal and external characteristics of the characters. Close to the comparison in terms of functional purpose are the antitheses, which in the analyzed work are built on the basis of contextual antonyms. Thus, the use of the above stylistic means helps the writer to attract the attention of recipients, to encourage them to think, to provoke the desired reaction or assessment, to convince of the correctness of the opinion, as well as to create vivid unforgettable images.
