Abstract

The novels bу Н. Mykhailychenko are the active response on the manifestations of the spiritual life at the beginning of ХХ с. His novels are written in unorthodox style. The writer in the structure of his novels attributes great significance to the notion of artistic space. Н. Mykhailychenko always places his heroes within the bounds of exceptional closed space. This space is featured via prism of the subjective feelings of the heroes. The artistic space in the novels bу H. Mykhailychenko is the specific means for displaying the heroes' psychology.
