Abstract

Purpose: To compare the differential impact of biological, bacterial and immune factors on the peculiarities of periodontitis and peri-implantitis, and their role in the prediction of pathologies occurrence based on a retrospective analysis of published data; to compare the results of previously published studies about the risk of peri-implant lesions development among patients with periodontal pathology in anamnesis, and determine the impact of periodontitis on the dental implants success rate.
