dc.description.abstract	The article substantiates the topicality of а promosing trend in historical socilinguistics, devoted to the studies of linguistic concepts of Ukrainian writers and other pulic promoters of the 19th-20th centuries. The scientific value of the main sources of these studies - letters, diaries, memoirs, curricula vitae etc. is substantiated.
