Перекладацькі трансформації при перекладі інструкції з експлуатації сушарки Siemens у мовній парі німецька-українська

Abstract

У статті на матеріалі інструкції з експлуатації сушарки «Siemens» здійснено аналіз перекладацьких трансформацій у мовній парі німецька українська. У запропонованій розвідці розглянуто лексичні, граматичні та стилістичні особливості фахового тексту на прикладі інструкції з експлуатації сушарки «Siemens». Визначальною рисою текстів такого типу є чіткість та точність передачі зазначеної інформації. Експлуатація приладу передбачає дотримання рекомендацій виробника, інакше виробник знімає з себе відповідальність за обслуговування та ремонт технічного пристрою. З огляду на це, важливо максимально точно здійснювати переклади таких текстів, щоб забезпечити споживачів достовірною інформацією. Для здійснення перекладу обраного тексту було використано технічні ресурси онлайн словник context-reverso, програма машинного перекладу deepl, CAT tool SDL Trados та Omega T. Використання технічних засобів засвідчило необхідність корегування тексту перекладу. У статті було визначено типові недоліки машинного перекладу фахового тексту, зокрема технічного. З-поміж найбільших погрішностей варто виділити нездатність локалізувати текст перекладу для кінцевого споживача. Задля максимально унормування для українського користувача доцільно адаптувати перекладений текст за допомогою перекладацьких трансформацій. Серед виявлених трансформацій, необхідних для корегування тексту, доцільно зупинитися на найпоширеніших. У представленому дослідженні найчастотнішими трансформаціями були «додавання», «опущення», «генералізація», «конкретизація», «заміна», «перестановка». Було виявлено також інші перекладацькі трансформації, але їхня частка була несуттєва. Використання зазначених вище трансформацій зумовлене лексико-граматичним ладом української та німецької мов.

In the article, the analysis of translation transformations in the German-Ukrainian language pair was carried out on the material of the operation instructions of the "Siemens" dryer. In the proposed investigation, the lexical, grammatical and stylistic features of the professional text were considered using the example of the usage instructions of the "Siemens" dryer. The defining feature of the texts of this type is the clarity and accuracy of the transmission of the specified information. The usage of the device requires compliance with the manufacturer's recommendations, otherwise the manufacturer absolves itself of responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the technical device. Considering these facts, it is important to translate such texts as accurately as possible, in order to provide consumers with reliable information. To translate the selected text, the folloeing technical resources were used: online dictionary context- reverso, machine translation program deepl, CAT tool SDL Trados and Omega T. The use of technical means proved the need to correct the translation text. The article identified typical drawbacks of machine translation of professional texts, in particular technical ones. Among the biggest mistakes, it is worth highlighting the inability to localize the translated text for the end user. In order to maximize normalization for the Ukrainian user, it is advisable to adapt the translated text using translation transformations. Among the detected transformations necessary for correcting the text, it is advisable to be focused on the most common ones. In the presented study, the most frequent transformations were "addition", "omission", "generalization", "specification", "replacement", "rearrangement". Other translational transformations were also detected, but their share was insignificant. The use of the above-mentioned transformations is determined by the lexical-grammatical system of the Ukrainian and German languages.
