Специфіка мовної реалізації сатиричного письма

Abstract

У статті розглянуто специфіку мовної реалізації сатиричної манери письма, покликаючись і узагальнюючи напрацювання теоретиків у цій сфері. Вибір об’єкту дослідження зумовлений помітною зацікавленістю зарубіжних і вітчизняних дослідників способами мовної реалізації сатиричної інтенції у тексті. Методологічною основою дослідження стала праця Йорґа Шенерта «Теорія (літературної) сатири: функціональна модель опису текстової структури та комунікативного впливу» [1], в якій запропоновано описову модель сатиричної манери письма і виявлено її константні елементи. Модель сатиричної манери письма, як особливої форми організації тексту, уможливлює подальший аналіз сатиричних творів, а також текстів приналежних до інших жанрів, які містять ознаки сатиричного. Проте в цьому дослідженні не знаходимо ґрунтовного аналізу можливостей мовної реалізації сатири на рівні текстової репрезентації. Тому до розгляду залучено низку праць, які досліджують варіанти реалізації сатиричної манери письма, а саме мовно-стилістичний і концептуальний інструментарій. Аналіз таких текстових явищ проведено на основі праць Е. Драйтсера [2], П. Сімпсона [3], М. Годґарда [4] і Р. Цимнера [5]. Дослідниця Барбара Петер визначила основні техніки і риси сатири з погляду журналістської місії [6]. Теоретичні розмисли увиразнюються і конкретизуються в дослідженні на прикладах класичних сатиричних художніх текстів. На основі досліджених праць виявлено взаємозв’язок усіх трьох рівнів моделі сатиричного письма та подальший вплив на відбір та застосування автором стилістичних та мовних засобів для досягнення цілі сатиричного наміру. Встановлено, що сатирична манера письма реалізується як на рівні використання стилістичних фігур, поєднанні лексичних одиниць і сталих виразів із різних тематичних сфер, так і на рівні концептуальної гри, ґрунтованої на метафоричному та метонімічному підході. Автори сатиричних творів користуються «лінгвістичною комічністю», себто комічним навантаженням лексем та виразів без прив’язки до певного контексту, задля підсилення комічного ефекту. Імітація манери говоріння та жестів слугують додатковими засобами посилення пізнаваності та комічності об’єкту.

The article deals with the specifics of the linguistic realization of the satirical style of writing, referring to and summarizing the achievements of theorists in this field. The choice of the object of study is due to the noticeable interest of foreign and domestic researchers in the ways of linguistic realization of the satirical intention in the text. The methodological basis of the study was the work of Jörg Schoenert "Theory of (Literary) Satire: A Functional Model for Describing Textual Structure and Communicative Impact" [1], in which he proposed a descriptive model of the satirical style of writing and identified its constant elements. The model of the satirical writing style as a special form of text organization makes it possible to further analyze satirical works, as well as texts belonging to other genres that contain signs of satire. However, this study does not provide a thorough analysis of the possibilities of linguistic realization of satire at the level of textual representation. Therefore, several works that study the variants of satirical writing style realization, namely linguistic, stylistic and conceptual tools, are included in the analysis. The analysis of such textual phenomena is based on the works of E. Draitser [2], P. Simpson [3], M. Hodgart [4] and R. Zimner [5]. The researcher Barbara Peter identified the main techniques and features of satire from the point of view of the journalistic mission [6]. The theoretical reflections are clarified and specified in the study on the examples of classical satirical literary texts. Based on the researched works, the interrelation of all three levels of the satirical writing model and the subsequent impact on the selection and use of stylistic and linguistic means by the author to achieve the goal of satirical intent are revealed. It has been established that the satirical style of writing is realized both at the level of using stylistic figures, combining lexical units and stable expressions from different thematic areas, and at the level of conceptual play based on the metaphorical and metonymic approach. The authors of satirical works use "linguistic comedy", i.e. the comic load of lexemes and expressions without reference to a specific context, to enhance the comic effect. Imitation of the manner of speaking and gestures serve as additional means of enhancing the recognizability and comic effect of the object.
