Зауваження П.Житецького до Грінченкової рукописної редакції словника "Киевской старины"

Abstract

The publication of P. Zhytets'kyi's manuscript "Notes concerning the new editorship of the Ukrainian dictionary" and the commentary to it is the main matter of the article. P. Zhytets'kyi highly appreciated B. Hrinchenko's editorial work, but he did not agree with him in some individual cases. In particular P. Zhytets'kyi concidered requisite the dialectical resources of the Ukrainian language to present wider іn the dictionary, reserwing the predominant meaning of the south-east­ern dialect region only as to, the phonetic system directly in the glossary.
