Abstract

Cultural-educational and scientific inheritance of the well-known Transcarpathian linguist and, historian Mikhailo Lutskay became approach - able for public only since the 80's of our century when his two main scientific works: «Grammatica Slavo-ruthena» (1830) and «Нistory of the Carpathian ruthenas» (1843) in six volumes had bееn translated from Latin into Ukrainian language. The article touches upon the lifе and scientific work of M.Lutskay and gives the estimation of his creations, bу the outstanding investigators of the ХІХ-ХХ th.
