Abstract

The article "lvan Franko and Roman Literature of "Golden Age", deals with Franko's critical and translating inheritance, devoted to the work of Three main pocts of "Augustian Age" і.е. Vergilius, Horatius and Ovidius. Such articles as "About the Life and Works of Vergilius" and "Publius Ovidius Naso in Thomida", which are mainly anylized in this art icle, and besides different characteristich of the authors, found іn Franko's literary-critical and epistolary heritage, are verifying not only his profound knowlidge of Roman Literature, but also the ability of brilliant scientific conclusions.
