Інтертекстуальність як механізм художнього моделювання культури спротиву героїв роману «Точка неповернення» Дмитра Вербича

Abstract

У статті на матеріалі роману «Точка неповернення» Д. Вербича досліджено роль та значення інтертекстуальності – як однієї з показових ознак стильової специфіки твору – у художньому відображенні світоглядних переконань головних і другорядних героїв. Назва роману, епіграф (паратексуальний рівень твору) виконують роль своєрідних перемикачів, смислових кодів для характеристики героїв, розуміння ними сенсу війни, сутності боротьби, а також для досягнення сюжетно-композиційної єдності твору з оповідною манерою. Мілітарна лексика (назви військової техніки тощо) конкретизує зображений у творі світ війни. Авторське бачення реалій війни суголосне зі світоглядними переконаннями головного героя. Інтертекстуальні конструкти в романі «Точка неповернення» різноаспектно характеризують головного героя твору – інтелектуала, свідомого громадянина України, заглибленого в історію й культуру свого народу. Згадані в романі твори українських і зарубіжних письменників означують коло інтересів протагоніста, допомагають осягнути корпус порушених у творі екзистенційних проблем. Фрагменти текстів «Човен» І. Франка, «Зродились ми великої години» О. Бабія постають у романі Д. Вербича маркерами патріотичної зорієнтованості персонажів, їхнього активного спротиву, складного світу переживань, настроїв, почуттів. Герої твору – воїни, захисники Донецького аеропорту – позиціонують себе продовжувачами ідей славних попередників, які захищали свободу й незалежність своєї держави в різні періоди її історії; сучасні воїни на підсвідомому рівні відчувають єдність із землею та предками. Асоціації українського захисника з героєм літературного твору за зовнішніми характеристиками (чітко означеними) і світоглядними переконаннями (представлені приховано), смисловий «діалог» епізодів роману з текстом Е. Гемінґвея засвідчують функціональність інтертекстуальних елементів у моделюванні антивоєнної спрямованості та художньому відображенні активного чину героїв роману Д. Вербича «Точка неповернення».

The article on the material of the novel "The Point of No Return" by D. Verbych investigates the role and significance of intertextuality – as one of the indicative signs of the stylistic specificity of the work – in the artistic reflection of the worldview beliefs of the main and minor characters. The title of the novel, the epigraph (the paratextual level of the work) play the role of a kind of switches, semantic codes for characterizing the heroes, their understanding of the meaning of war, the essence of struggle, as well as for achieving the plot-compositional unity of the work with a narrative manner. Military vocabulary (names of military equipment, etc.) specify the world of war depicted in the work. The author's vision of the realities of war is consistent with the worldview beliefs of the main character. Intertextual constructs in the novel "The Point of No Return" characterize the main character of the work – an intellectual, a conscious citizen of Ukraine, immersed in the history and culture of his people – in various aspects. The works of Ukrainian and foreign writers mentioned in the novel represent the interests of the protagonist and help to understand the corpus of existential problems raised in the work. Fragments of the texts "Boat" by I. Franko, "We were born in a great hour" by O. Babii appear in D. Verbych's novel as markers of the patriotic orientation of the characters, their active resistance, the complex world of experiences, moods, and feelings. The heroes of the work – soldiers, defenders of the Donetsk airport – position themselves as the successors of the ideas of their glorious predecessors, who defended the freedom and independence of their state in various periods of its history; modern warriors subconsciously feel oneness with the land and ancestors. Associations of the Ukrainian defender with the hero of the literary work based on external characteristics (clearly defined) and worldview beliefs (presented covertly), the semantic "dialogue" of the episodes of the novel with the text of E. Hemingway testify to the functionality of intertextual elements in modeling the anti-war orientation and the artistic representation of the active rank of the heroes of the novel by D. Verbycha "Point of no return".
