Динаміка використання синонімів та їх взаємозаміна в сучасній українській мові (на матеріалі публіцистичних текстів)

Abstract

У дослідницькій статті розглянуто семантичні відтінки синонімів в межах одного синонімічного ряду та їх вплив на можливість їх взаємозамінності без втрати смислового навантаження чи певного відтінку в тексті. Дослідження є корпусобазованим, джерелом емпіричного матеріалу слугувала газета «День», що входить до складу генерального регіонально анотованого корпусу української мови (ГРАК‑16). В результаті аналізу встановлено, що синоніми в межах одного синонімічного ряду можуть мати різні семантичні відтінки, конотації та аспекти, які вони підкреслюють. Виявлено, що ці відмінності зумовлені їхнім контекстуальним вживанням та метою автора. Вони безпосередньо впливають на парадигматичні зв’язки та в багатьох випадках унеможливлюють взаємозаміну у певному контексті, адже цей процес може змінити висловлювання та, як наслідок, впливати на коректну інтерпретацію тексту. Акцентовано на значущості чіткого та ретельного підбору синонімів у текстах, враховуючи їх призначення та стилістичні особливості. За допомогою статистичного аналізу прослідковано динаміку вживання синонімів на матеріалі газети «День» та виявлено зміни у частоті вживання синонімів у публіцистичних текстах протягом останніх двадцяти років, що є наслідком еволюції лексичної системи, змін тенденцій та особливостей публіцистичного стилю. Встановлено, що не менш важливим фактором є також вплив різних чинників: соціального, культурного, політичного та інших. Вказано на важливості ролі синонімів у мовленні, зокрема у публіцистичних текстах, та ретельності їх підбору для коректного відображення мети, смислового навантаження та відтінків, які мають значний вплив на правильну інтерпретацію поданої інформації. За допомогою аналізу різних аспектів та особливостей синонімії, а також визначення змін у різні періоди часу розкрито динаміку мовної еволюції, що сприяє коректному поданні інформації в сучасному суспільстві.

The research article examines the semantic shades of synonyms within one synonymous series and their influence on the possibility of their interchangeability without losing the semantic load or a certain shade in the text. The research is corpus-based, the source of empirical material was the newspaper “Den”, which is part of the general regionally annotated corpus of the Ukrainian language (GRAK‑16). As a result of the analysis, it was found that synonyms within the same synonymous series can have different semantic shades, connotations and aspects that they emphasize. It was found that these differences are due to their contextual use and the author’s purpose. They directly affect paradigmatic connections and in many cases make interchangeability impossible in a certain context, because this process can change the utterance and, as a result, affect the correct interpretation of the text. Emphasis is placed on the importance of clear and careful selection of synonyms in texts, taking into account their purpose and stylistic features. With the help of statistical analysis, the dynamics of the use of synonyms in the material of the newspaper “Den” was followed and changes in the frequency of use of synonyms in journalistic texts during the last twenty years were revealed, which is a consequence of the evolution of the lexical system, changes in trends and features of the journalistic style. It was established that the influence of various factors is also an equally important factor: social, cultural, political and others. It is pointed out the importance of the role of synonyms in speech, in particular in journalistic texts, and the carefulness of their selection for the correct reflection of the purpose, semantic load and nuances, which have a significant impact on the correct interpretation of the presented information. By means of the analysis of various aspects and features of synonymy, as well as the determination of changes in different periods of time, the dynamics of language evolution is revealed, which contributes to the correct presentation of information in modern society.
