Abstract

The authors studied the gгeat statistic material about the natality and moгtality of the population in Transcaгpathia from 1949 till 1994. They found out, that the natality and at the same time the natural increase of population gradually lowered during this period. lt became especially noticeable from the middle of the 60-th years. So the natural increase decreased 5.5 times. АІІ this гesults in the sigпificant decrease in the гepгoduction of population. In conclusion the authoгs pointed to the necessity to improve the family protection woгk.
