Стан і перспективи дослідження лексики бойківських говірок

Abstract

У статті здійснено огляд досліджень із лексики бойківського говору. Відзначено, що говірки одного з південно-західних діалектів української мови віддавна стали об’єктом різноаспектних мовознавчих студій, а відтак ‒ добре репрезентовані в лексикографічному та лінгвогеографічному аспектах. Наявні також праці, у яких опрацьовано різноманітні тематичні групи лексики (системний опис лексики чи фрагментарний): структурно-семантичну організацію лексичних одиниць, їх походження, динаміку функціювання, ареальну специфіку, архаїзацію та інновацію тощо. Такі дослідження спонукатимуть до з’ясування важливих загальнотеоретичних проблем, зокрема зв’язків між лексико-семантичними групами на рівні словотвору й мотивації та ін. Чимало студій сфокусовано на розкритті специфіки функціювання бойкізмів у мові художнього твору. Про активність наукових зацікавлень свідчать доступні огляди дотеперішніх дескриптивних, лексикографічних, лінгвогеографічних праць, матеріалом яких слугували бойківські говірки. Водночас акцентовано, що попри низку лексикологічних розвідок, словниковий склад цих говірок потребує подальшого ґрунтовного опису, насамперед ті його тематичні групи, які зазнають нівеляції чи зникнення. Особлива увага ‒ на створенні регіональних діалектологічних атласів, лексиконів як потужних репрезентантів словника говірок, що дасть змогу уточнити час формування бойківських лексем, їх динаміку, виявити співвідношення бойківської лексики з іншими діалектами й загальнонаціональною мовою, проілюструвати звʼязки лексики бойківських говірок з іншими говорами й сусідніми мовами, виявити міжмовну й міждіалектну інтерференцію та ін. Висвітлення стану вивчення інших мовних рівнів бойківських говірок є доцільним з огляду на потребу заповнити лакуни ще не досліджених питань.

The article reviews studies on the vocabulary of the Boyko dialect. It is noted that the dialects of one of the southwestern dialects of the Ukrainian language have long been the object of various linguistic studies, and therefore are well represented in lexicographic and linguogeographical aspects. There are also works on the study of various thematic groups of vocabulary (systematic description of the vocabulary or fragmentary, ad hoc description): structural and semantic organisation of lexical units, their origin, dynamics of functioning, area specificity, archaisation and innovation, etc. Such studies will help to clarify important general theoretical issues, in particular, the links between lexical and semantic groups at the level of word formation and motivation, the variability of formal and semantic structures of names, etc. Many studies have focused on the significance of boykisms in the language of a work of fiction. The activity of scientific interest is evidenced by the available reviews of descriptive, lexicographic, linguo-geographical works based on Boyko dialects. At the same time, it is emphasised that despite a number of lexicological studies, the vocabulary of these dialects requires further thorough description, especially those thematic groups that are subject to levelling or disappearance. Particular attention is paid to the creation of regional dialectological atlases and lexicons as powerful representatives of the vocabulary of the dialects, which will make it possible to clarify the time of formation of Boyko lexemes and their dynamics, to identify the relationship of Boyko vocabulary to other dialects and the national language, to illustrate the connections of Boyko vocabulary with other dialects and neighbouring languages, to identify interlingual and interdialectal interference, etc. It is advisable to highlight the state of study of other linguistic levels of Boyko dialects in view of the need to fill in the gaps of unexplored issues.
