Сюжетно-образна специфіка роману Владислава Реймонта «Селяни»

Abstract

Метою статті є дослідження сюжетно-образної специфіки роману В. Реймонта «Селяни». Зазначену мету реалізують такі завдання: 1) аналіз творчого задуму роману; 2) художня складова його проблематики; 3) сюжетна структура та система образів твору. Теоретико-методологічною основою дослідження виступають історико-культурний, історико-літературний, а також загальнонаукові методи (синтез, узагальнення, систематизація тощо). Об’єктом аналізу розвідки є роман В. Реймонта «Селяни». Предметом дослідження виступають художні особливості роману В. Реймонта «Селяни», зокрема, ідейно-тематична спрямованість та загостреність проблематики, сюжетно-фабульна організація твору та характеристика персонажної системи образів. Наукова новизна отриманих результатів полягає у тому, що у дослідженні схарактеризовано особливості творчої постаті В. Реймонта, його ідейно-світоглядні та художні погляди, проаналізовано творчий метод письменника та специфіку художньої побудови роману «Селяни». Унаслідок проведеного дослідження було встановлено, що: 1) Творчість В. Реймонта є знаменним етапом у розвитку польської прози початку ХХ ст. й, зокрема, її младопопольського естетичного відгалуження; 2) Роман В. Реймонта «Селяни» став у національній літературі своєрідною енциклопедією і панорамною картиною зображення життя тогочасного етапу розвитку польського суспільства; 3) Спираючись на традиції своїх літературних попередників, зокрема, поему А. Міцкевича «Пан Тадеуш», В. Реймонт у романі «Селяни» в узагальненій формі відтворив головні суспільно-політичні й ментальні виклики та духовні запити сучасного йому польського суспільства; 4) Роман В. Реймонта «Селяни» є важливою ланкою у продовженні тяглості ідейних та літературних традицій національної літератури стосовно відображення проблематики життя польського селянства, тематики суголосної тогочасним тенденціям розвитку західноєвропейської і східнослов’янських літератур загалом. Перспективи подальших досліджень вбачаємо у поглибленні та розширенні літературознавчих рецепцій творчості В. Реймонта в обширі українського літературознавства.

The purpose of the article is to study the plot-figurative specifics of V. Raymont’s novel «Peasants». The specified goal is realized by the following tasks: 1) analysis of the creative idea of the novel, 2) artistic components of its problems, 3) the plot structure and the image system of the work. The theoretic and historical methodological basis of the research are the historical and cultural, historical and literary, as well as general scientific methods (synthesis, generalization, systematization, etc.). The object of analysis exploration is the V. Raymont’s novel «Peasants». The subject of the study is the artistic features of the V. Raymont’s novel «The Peasants», in particular, the ideological and thematic orientation and acuteness of its problems, the story-plot organization of the work and the characteristics of the characters system of its images. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is in the fact that the research characterizes the peculiarities of the creative figure of V. Raymont, his ideological and worldview and artistic views, analyzes his creative method and the specifics of the artistic construction of the novel «Peasants». As a result of the conducted research, it was established that: 1) V. Raymont’s work is a significant stage in the development of Polish prose of the beginning of the XXth century and, in particular, its Mladopolska aesthetic branch; 2) V. Raymont’s novel «The Peasants» became a kind of encyclopedia and a panoramic picture of the life of the contemporary stage of the development of Polish society in national literature; 3) Relying on the traditions of his literary predecessors, in particular A. Mickiewicz’s poem «Pan Tadeusz», V. Raymont in the novel «The Peasants» reproduced in a generalized form the main social and political and mental challenges and spiritual inquiries of his contemporary Polish society; 4) the V. Raymont’s novel «The Peasants» is an important link in the continuation of the ideological and literary traditions of national literature in relation to the reflection of the issues of the life of the Polish peasantry, a theme consistent with the contemporary trends in the development of Western European and Eastern Slavic literature in general. We see the prospects for further research in the deepening and expansion of literary receptions of V. Raymont’s work in the scope of Ukrainian literary studies.
