Труднощі перекладу німецьких реалій

Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу труднощів перекладу німецьких реалій. Актуальність дослідження визначається необхідністю врахування ролі культурних особливостей та міжкультурного спілкування у сучасному світі. Зростаюча міжнародна співпраця, масштабна міграція та інтеграція культур створюють потребу в ефективному перекладі, що відображає різноманітність та унікальність культурних контекстів. Мета статті полягає в аналізі труднощів, що виникають під час перекладу німецьких реалій, з огляду на їх унікальні культурні, історичні та соціальні контексти. У статті наголошено, що у галузі лінгвістики та перекладу поняття «реалія» вживається для опису словесних одиниць, які відтворюють реальні об’єкти, явища, концепції чи культурні аспекти певної країни або мовної спільноти, до яких належать назви географічних об’єктів, пам’яток культури, страв, національних свят, соціальних інститутів та інші аспекти їхнього життя і культури. Автори статті зазначають, що при перекладі реалій виникають складнощі, оскільки вони можуть мати унікальні значення або асоціації, які є специфічними для конкретної культури. Перекладачам необхідно враховувати ці культурні, історичні та соціальні контексти, щоб забезпечити відповідність між оригінальним текстом і перекладом, а також передати специфічний колорит та смислові нюанси реалій. На думку авторів статті, частковими способами перекладу німецьких реалій постають приблизний та описовий, а також транскрибування. Автори надають рекомендації перекладачам щодо стратегій та підходів до перекладу німецьких реалій. Ці рекомендації охоплюють дослідження культурних та історичних контекстів, використання паралелей у культурних аспектах, а також використання пояснень або адаптацій для передачі значень реалій у цільовій мові.

The article analyzes the difficulties of translating German realities. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to take into account the role of cultural peculiarities and intercultural communication in the modern world. Growing international cooperation, large-scale migration and integration of cultures create a need for effective translation that reflects the diversity and uniqueness of cultural contexts. The purpose of the article is to analyze the difficulties encountered in translating German realities, given their unique cultural, historical and social contexts. The article emphasizes that in the field of linguistics and translation, the concept of “reality” is used to describe verbal units that reproduce real objects, phenomena, concepts or cultural aspects of a particular country or language community, which include the names of geographical objects, cultural monuments, dishes, national holidays, social institutions and other aspects of their life and culture. The authors of the article point out that translating realities poses difficulties because they may have unique meanings or associations that are specific to a particular culture. Translators need to take these cultural, historical, and social contexts into account to ensure adequacy between the original text and the translation, as well as to convey the specific flavor and semantic nuances of the realities. According to the authors of the article, approximate and descriptive translations, as well as transcription, are the most frequent ways of translating German realities. The authors provide recommendations for translators on strategies and approaches to translating German realities. These recommendations include the study of cultural and historical contexts, the use of parallels in cultural aspects, and the use of explanations or adaptations to convey the meanings of realities in the target language.
