Структурно-семантичні особливості фахової лексики в німецькому військовому дискурсі

Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню німецької військової лексики, яка є важливою складовою професійної мови військовослужбовців. Військова термінологія відіграє ключову роль у плануванні та проведенні військових операцій, а також при обміні інформацією та в процесі навчання. Метою нашої статті є всебічне дослідження фахової лексики в німецькому військовому дискурсі. В статті проаналізовано, зокрема, структуру та функціональні особливості військових термінів, їх вплив на міжмовну комунікацію у військовій сфері. Особливу увагу приділено питанням точності та однозначності перекладу військових текстів, що часто є нормативними документами. У статті розглянуто специфічні лексичні особливості військового дискурсу, такі як використання суміжних понять військової справи і політики, а також тенденція до використання загальної лексики замість вузькоспеціалізованих термінів. Як показав аналіз, німецький військовий дискурс має особливі мовні характеристики, відмінні від інших видів дискурсу. Він характеризується високою насиченістю термінами та використанням клішованих мовних форм, які регламентують військову діяльність, такі як команди, бойові документи, настанови, інструкції та статути; має як раціональну, так і емоційну оцінку. У процесі дослідження було з’ясовано, що найбільш поширеними тематичними групами у військовій підсистемі сучасної німецької мови є такі: зброя та її частини, системи оборони, військова техніка та її складові; рід військ, підрозділи, формування; військова тактика та стратегії; військова служба та види діяльності; військові звання; спорядження та амуніція; назви фортифікаційних споруд тощо. У статті зроблено висновок, що переклад військових текстів потребує дотримання стандартизованих форм, усталених виразів і кліше, з метою забезпечення цілісності повідомлення та уникнення викривлення змісту. Такий підхід сприяє покращенню взаєморозуміння та координації дій у військовій і цивільній сферах.

The article is devoted to the study of German military vocabulary, which is an important component of the professional language of military personnel. Military terminology plays a key role in the planning and conduct of military operations, as well as in the exchange of information and in the process of training. The aim of our article is to conduct a comprehensive study of professional vocabulary in German military discourse. The article analyses, in particular, the structure and functional features of military terms and their impact on interlingual communication in the military sphere. Particular attention is paid to the issues of accuracy and unambiguity in the translation of military texts, which are often regulatory documents. The article examines specific lexical features of military discourse, such as the use of related concepts of military affairs and politics, as well as the tendency to use general vocabulary instead of highly specialized terms. The analysis has shown that German military discourse has special linguistic characteristics that differ from other types of discourse. It is characterized by a high saturation of terms and the use of clichéd language forms that regulate military activities, such as commands, combat documents, guidelines, instructions and statutes; it has both rational and emotional evaluation. In the course of the study, it was found that the most common thematic groups in the military subsystem of the modern German language are the following: weapons and their parts, defense systems, military equipment and its components; branches of the armed forces, units, formations; military tactics and strategies; military service and activities; military ranks; equipment and ammunition; names of fortifications, etc. The article concludes that the translation of military texts requires adherence to standardized forms, established expressions and clichés in order to ensure the integrity of the message and avoid distortion of the content. This approach helps to improve mutual understanding and coordination in the military and civilian spheres.
