Abstract

У статті висвітлюються основні аспекти дослідження англомовного політичного дискурсу. Зміст політичного дискурсу складає структура та єдність мовних актів, що мають відношення та безпосередньо функціонують у політичному просторі. Широке розуміння змісту політичного дискурсу робить доцільним також віднесення сюди усних та письмових текстів та/або їх фрагментів, які створюються як професіоналами-політиками, так і журналістами і навіть нефахівцями. Дослідження англомовного політичного дискурсу охоплює різноманітні аспекти, такі як лінгвістичний, дискурсивний, прагматичний, соціолінгвістичний, психолінгвістичний, інтеркультурний та критичний аналіз. Кожен з цих аспектів досліджує специфічні риси та методи політичної комунікації, від риторичних прийомів до впливу контексту і медіа. Завдяки цьому аналізу можна виокремити стратегії політиків, а також виявити способи впливу на суспільство і формування громадської думки. Перспективи дослідження політичного інтернет-дискурсу є надзвичайно широкими та важливими. Зростання впливу соціальних мереж та онлайн-платформ створює нові можливості для політичної комунікації та взаємодії з виборцями. Інтернет-дискурс має глобальне охоплення, що дозволяє політичним ідеям і повідомленням швидко поширюватися по всьому світу. Сучасні технології збору та аналізу великих обсягів даних дозволяють вивчати масиви інформації, виявляти тенденції, патерни та зміни в політичних настроях суспільства. Важливим аспектом є вплив інтернет-дискурсу на формування громадської думки, мобілізацію підтримки та політичну активність. Крім того, дослідження інтернет-дискурсу дозволяє аналізувати явища поляризації, поширення фейків та дезінформації, що є поширеними в онлайн-середовищі. The article highlights the main aspects of the study of English political discourse. The content of political discourse is the structure and unity of speech acts that are related and directly function in the political space. A broad understanding of the content of political discourse makes it appropriate to include here oral and written texts and/or their fragments, which are created by both professional politicians, journalists and even non-specialists. The study of English political discourse covers various aspects such as linguistic, discursive, pragmatic, sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic, intercultural and critical analysis. Each of these aspects explores specific features and methods of political communication, from rhetorical techniques to the influence of context and media. Thanks to this analysis, it is possible to single out the strategies of politicians, as well as to identify ways of influencing society and shaping public opinion. The prospects for the study of political Internet discourse are extremely broad and important. The growing influence of social networks and online platforms creates new opportunities for political communication and interaction with voters. Internet discourse has a global reach, allowing political ideas and messages to spread rapidly around the world. Modern technologies for collecting and analyzing large volumes of data allow studying masses of information, identifying trends, patterns and changes in the political attitudes of society. An important aspect is the influence of Internet discourse on the formation of public opinion, mobilization of support and political activism. In addition, the study of Internet discourse allows analyzing the phenomena of polarization, the spread of fakes and disinformation, which are common in the online environment. The Internet provides new forms of political participation, such as online petitions, social media campaigns, and virtual protest movements. The study of political Internet discourse is a promising field of research that allows for a better understanding of modern political processes, their impact on society, and the development of strategies to counter negative phenomena such as misinformation and polarization.
