Innovative Approaches to Developing Teachers' Competencies: Experiences from Different Countries and Prospects for Implementation

Abstract

The paper investigates innovative approaches to the development of teachers' competencies, prospects for their implementation and the experience of different countries in such innovations. The paper uses such methods as analysis, synthesis, and generalization. The purpose of the study is to identify and reveal modern approaches to the development of teachers' competencies. It is determined that the purpose of educational innovations is to create a complete picture of the world for each applicant and to develop various aspects of the personality, from emotional well-being to the ability to make responsible decisions. The author identifies 4 main prospects for the implementation of innovative approaches to teacher development. The author considers how different countries of the world are actively implementing innovative approaches to the development of teachers' competencies. It is substantiated that changes in modern Ukrainian society, especially in the field of education, require new approaches and innovative strategies.
