Проблемні аспекти застосування порівняльного методу дослідження політики

Abstract

Одним з основних логічних засобів пізнання об’єктивного світу є порівняння. Воно є незмінним елементом усіх форм пізнання, що і зробило його одним з ключових методів наукового дослідження. Порівняльний метод вже давно широко застосовується в політичній науці. Він довів свою ефективність та затребуваність, але все ще має ряд проблемних аспектів, які варто враховувати для збереження якості дослідження. У статті доведено, що метод порівняння є базовим в методології політичної науки, який використовується для виявлення загальних та особливих ознак політичних субʼєктів і встановлення закономірностей їх розвитку. У статті відзначено, що компаративний підхід, в контексті політичної науки, є одним з основних для ефективного пізнання дійсності. Він передбачає порівняння процесів, явищ і понять політичного характеру задля вивчення їх подібності та виявлення основних розбіжностей. Застосування методу порівняння дозволяє встановити, яким чином відбувався розвиток політичної системи та якими були особливості становлення окремих її елементів. У статті автор аналізує ключові проблемні аспекти застосування порівняльного методу в політичній науці та способи їх мінімізації чи вирішення. Це дозволяє зробити процес наукового дослідження максимально ефективним, а результат точним. Під порівняльним (компаративним) методом в статті розуміють метод співставлення двох або більше об’єктів задля виокремлення в них загального і відмінного з метою класифікації та типології. Актуальність дослідження обумовлена тим, що проведення порівняльних досліджень особливе значуще відносно теорії і практики функціонування різних політичних систем, змісту і еволюції політичних культур різних народів, політичної поведінки окремих груп населення, що є центральною сферою інтересів сучасної політичної науки в умовах постійних змін спричинених глобалізацією та діджиталізацією світового простору.

One of the basic logical means of knowing the objective world is comparison. It is an invariable element of all forms of knowledge, which made it one of the key methods of scientific research. The comparative method has long been widely used in political science. It has proven its effectiveness and demand, but still has a number of problematic aspects that should be taken into account in order to maintain the quality of research. The article proves that the method of comparison is basic in the methodology of political science, which is used to identify general and special features of political subjects and establish patterns of their development. The article notes that the comparative approach, in the context of political science, is one of the main ones for effective knowledge of reality. It involves comparing processes, phenomena and concepts of a political nature in order to study their similarities and identify the main differences. The application of the comparison method allows us to establish how the development of the political system took place and what the peculiarities of the formation of its individual elements were. In the article, the author analyzes key problematic aspects of the application of the comparative method in political science and ways to minimize or resolve them. This makes it possible to make the process of scientific research as efficient as possible, and the result is accurate. In the article, the comparative (comparative) method is understood as the method of comparing two or more objects in order to single out the common and the different in them for the purpose of classification and typology. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that conducting comparative studies is particularly significant in relation to the theory and practice of the functioning of various political systems, the content and evolution of the political cultures of various peoples, the political behavior of certain population groups, which is the central area of interest of modern political science in the conditions of constant changes caused by globalization and digitalization world space.
