Щоденниковий дискурс Олександра Довженка: інтенційний обшир і синтаксування

Abstract

У науковій розвідці проаналізовано щоденник як окрему дискурсивно-жанрову форму епістолярного стилю української мови, що має історико-культурну та естетичну цінність, репрезентує психоментальний простір мовної особистості, спектр емоційно наснажених суб'єктивно-авторських інтенцій, формує багатогранність письменницького ідіостилю. З опертям на просторово-часовий континуум «Щоденника» Олександра Довженка, що його представлено в п'ятому томі п'ятитомного видання творів письменника (1985 р.), досліджено посутні жанрові ознаки й тематично-змістове наповнення щоденника, обстежено тяглість наукових пошуків щодо його лінгвістичної природи. З опертям на багатий ілюстративний матеріал обґрунтовано думку про амбівалентний характер щоденника Олександра Довженка ‒ знакової постаті України ХХ ст. Серед синтаксичних маркерів, що увиразнюють інтенційний діапазон щоденникового дискурсу Олександра Довженка, проаналізовано двоскладні речення як маркери домінантних для епістолярної комунікації я-інтенцій; схарактеризовано типологійні вияви категорії односкладності, зокрема означено- та неозначено-особові конструкції, безособові та інфінітивні висловлення, що відображають індивідуально-авторську картину світу, експлікують емотивно-аксіологічні, спонукальні та оптативні інтенції; визначено роль односкладних номінативних речень у контексті вербалізації інтенцій інформування. На багатому ілюстративному матеріалі досліджено питальні конструкції, афористичні висловлення та парцельовані комунікати, які слугують синтаксичними експресемами у щоденнику Олександра Довженка, виражають інтенції естетичності, вияскравляючи домінантні ознаки епістолярного мовостилю письменника. Серед посутніх ознак щоденникового дискурсу Олександра Довженка визначено: хронологічність як визначальний маркер жанрової диференціації щоденника; поліінтенційність щоденника, його різновекторність та амбівалентність у реалізації, з одного боку, соціокультурного простору української історії ХХ ст., з іншого ‒ у передаванні суб'єктивного плану індивідуальних одкровень автора; багатство синтаксичних засобів, що оприявнюють інтенційний обшир людської комунікації, увиразнюють експлікацію та взаємодію художнього, публіцистичного та розмовного стилів, індивідуалізують письменницький ідіостиль.

The article analyses the writer’s diary as a separate discursive and genre form of the Ukrainian language epistolary style, which has national, historical, ethnocultural and aesthetic value for the native speaker having a Ukrainian linguistic mentality. The study reveals the psychomental space of the linguistic personality, its deeply personal, emotionally charged layer of subjective intentions. It is a substantive marker of the multifaceted writer’s idiomatic writing style. Based on the spatial and temporal continuum of Oleksandr Dovzhenko’s Diary, presented in the fifth volume of the five-volume edition of the writer’s works (1985), this paper investigates the essential genre features of the diary (its subjectivity, chronology, sequence, clarity of dates, dialogue, individualisation of statements, fragmentation), its thematic content, the scientific research continuity of the diary’s linguistic nature. The author substantiates the idea of the ambivalent nature of Oleksandr Dovzhenko’s diary discourse, a significant figure of twentieth-century Ukraine. Among the syntactic markers that emphasise the intentional range of Oleksandr Dovzhenko’s diary discourse, the article analyses two-part sentences as markers of the dominant I-intentions in epistolary communication. The author focuses on the typological manifestations of the monosyllabic nature of the writing, in particular, definite and indefinite personal constructions, impersonal and infinitive expressions that reflect the individual author’s worldview, implement the emotive and axiological intentions of the linguistic personality, the range of motivational and optative intentions. The study displays the role of monosyllabic nominal sentences in verbalising intentions of informing and the existence of human existence. Drawing on the rich illustrative material, the author examines interrogative constructions, aphoristic statements and partial communication patterns that serve as syntactic expressions in Oleksandr Dovzhenko’s diary discourse, revealing the aesthetic intentions and highlighting the dominant features of the writer’s epistolary language. The essential features of Oleksandr Dovzhenko's diary discourse include the following elements: chronological and documentary accuracy of time and place as essential markers of genre differentiation of the diary; polyintentionality of the writer’s diary, its multi-vector and ambivalence in the realisation of the socio-cultural space of Ukrainian history of the twentieth century, on the one hand, and in conveying the subjective plan of individual revelations, on the other hand. The richness of syntactic means that verbalise the intentional scope of human communication, emphasise the explication of the interaction between artistic, journalistic and colloquial styles, and individualise the writer's idiomaticity.
