Роль держави в геополітичному просторі

Abstract

Найважливішим чинником розвитку сучасної держави є глобалізація. На думку автора, держава та глобалізація – багато в чому взаємопов’язані явища світової історії, оскільки глобалізація є не що інше, як будь-яке розширення – суспільного та державного характеру – за межі природних територій. Отже, держава та глобалізація пов’язані не лише у сьогоденні, а й у минулому, а також у майбутньому. У XXІ столітті глобалізація досягла такого рівня розвитку, що починає проникати практично у всі сфери сучасного суспільства, породжуючи їх серйозні трансформації, починає визначати стиль, ритми життя людей практично у всьому світі. Автор доводить, що, розвиваючись і змінюючись разом із суспільством, держава як об’єкт вивчення, швидше за все, ніколи не втратить своєї актуальності та значущості для науки.

Globalization is the most important factor in the development of the modern state. According to the author, the state and globalization are in many respects interconnected phenomena of world history, since globalization is nothing more than any expansion of a social and state nature beyond the boundaries of natural territories. So, the state and globalization are connected not only in the present, but also in the past, as well as in the future. Developing throughout human history, in the 21st century globalization has reached such a level of development that it begins to penetrate almost all spheres of modern society, giving rise to their serious transformations, and begins to determine the style and rhythms of people’s lives almost all over the world. This proves the need to rethink traditional ideas about the state. The once inviolable positions on the eternal existence of the state as a social institution have been shaken, and this necessitated its rethinking in accordance with the new requirements of modern society. A significant change in the role of the state in the life of the world community raised the question of what it will become in the coming years. Geopolitical subjects are forced to integrate into complex regional and global systems of relations. It is about bringing the interest of a particular country into line with the interests and goals of other countries, which forms a world based on cooperation, mutual understanding and mutual development. The author proves that developing and changing together with society, the state as an object of study will most likely never lose its relevance and significance for science. And in the era of globalization, the modern state, undergoing a significant change in traditional functions and methods of exercising power, continues to play a key role in public life. The state, as before, remains the guarantor of external and internal security, justice, democracy and human rights, the provision of fundamental social values, the source of accumulation of the national welfare system, the most important mechanism for the organization and management of many spheres of modern society.
