Класифікація англіцизмів в узусі іспанської мови

Abstract

У статтi дослiджується багаторiвневе функцiонування англiцизмiв у сучаснiй iспанськiй мовi, зосереджене переважно на лексичному рiвнi, з урахуванням їх класифiкацiї, шляхiв проникнення та адаптацiї. Основна увага придiляється тому, як технологiчний прогрес, розвиток соцiальних мереж i глобалiзацiя сприяли активному запозиченню англiйських елементiв на рiзних мовних рiвнях: вiд фонетики та орфографiї до синтаксису i семантики. Пiдкреслено, що англiцизми впливають не лише на словниковий склад iспанської, а й на її мовну норму в цiлому. На основi аналiзу робiт таких дослiдникiв, як М. Лопес, Ф. Наварро, К. Пратт та Е. Лоренсо, окреслено основнi типи англiцизмiв: патентнi (адаптованi, неадаптованi, гiбриднi, псевдоанглiцизми) та непатентнi (семантичнi запозичення, рiзнi типи кальок). Значне мiсце в роботi вiдведено класифiкацiї Е. Лоренсо, яка дозволяє врахувати як ступiнь адаптацiї слова, так i його форму, походження та сферу вживання. Виділено соціолінгвістичні аспекти функціонування англіцизмів, оскільки сфери їх активного вживання охоплюють ключові галузі сучасного життя – економіку, спорт, культуру, туризм, моду, ЗМІ тощо. Широкий спектр джерел запозичень (засоби масової інформації, жаргони, спеціалізовані дискурси, глобалізовані культурні практики) обумовлює як інтенсивність проникнення англіцизмів, так і зміну мовних норм у бік більшої відкритості та варіативності. Зроблено висновок про гнучкість іспанської мовної системи щодо iнтеграцiї запозичень та необхiднiсть подальших досліджень у напрямку вивчення впливу англiйських запозичень на мовний узус, зокрема у соціальних мережах i професiйному мовленнi. Окрему увагу пропонується приділяти узусу як критичному чиннику закріплення англіцизмів у мовi-реципiєнтi та ролi мовних iнституцiй у нормалiзацiї цих процесiв. У подальших наукових розвідках доцільним вбачається глибше аналізувати функціонування англіцизмів в іспанському мовному узусі – зокрема у соціальних мережах, підлітковому та молодіжному сленгу, а також у професійних середовищах.

The article explores the multilevel functioning of Anglicisms in contemporary Spanish, focusing primarily on the lexical level, with attention to their classification, pathways of entry, and adaptation. Special emphasis is placed on how technological advancement, the rise of social media, and globalization have facilitated the widespread adoption of English elements across various linguistic levels – from phonetics and orthography to syntax and semantics. It is highlighted that Anglicisms influence not only the Spanish lexicon but also the overall linguistic norm. Drawing on the works of scholars such as M. López, F. Navarro, C. Pratt, and E. Lorenzo, the article outlines the main types of Anglicisms: patent (adapted, non-adapted, hybrid, and pseudo-Anglicisms) and non-patent (semantic borrowings and various types of calques). Considerable attention is given to E. Lorenzo’s classification, which accounts for the degree of word adaptation, as well as its form, origin, and field of use. The sociolinguistic dimension of Anglicisms is also examined, as their active use spans key areas of modern life – economy, sports, culture, tourism, fashion, and the media. The wide range of borrowing sources (mass media, jargon, specialized discourses, and globalized cultural practices) contributes to both the intensity of Anglicism penetration and the evolution of language norms toward greater openness and variability. The article concludes by emphasizing the flexibility of the Spanish linguistic system in integrating borrowings and the need for continued research into the influence of English-derived elements on language usage, especially in social media and professional discourse. Particular attention is proposed for the role of language usage as a critical factor in the consolidation of Anglicisms in the recipient language and the role of linguistic institutions in standardizing these processes. Future studies should delve deeper into the use of Anglicisms in social networks, youth and teenage slang, and professional environments.
