Коментарі до паремій і фразем у дослідженні етнолінгвістики

Abstract

Актуальність досліджень етнолінгвістичних коментарів (укладачів словників, носіїв говірок та ін.) до прислів’їв і приказок, фразем, сталих порівнянь ґрунтується на пошуках закономірностей творення та вживання цих мовних одиниць, з’ясування механізму конструювання вторинних семіотичних систем, їхній здатності «утримувати» архаїзми, історизми, етнографізми навіть у разі втрати обрядодії, звичаю тощо, можливості в реалізації розуміння та характеристик процесів життя. У статті досліджено види коментарів до паремій та фразем, зроблені укладачами словників різного типу, фольклористами, зрештою – носіями говірок, які через автокоментування у зв’язних текстах пояснюють походження чи значення сталих висловів. У лексикографічних працях української мови, збірках діалектних текстів різних часових проміжків відображено всю поняттєво-логічну систему навколишнього реального світу в розумінні етносу. Коментарі в словникових статтях, докладні описи історії постання паремій чи фразем у текстах через оповідки, анекдоти, бувальщини та ін., а також розповіді про елементи обрядів та звичаїв, перестороги, табу й прикмети є важливим джерелом для досліджень народного розуміння шляхів творення цих мовних одиниць, їх мотивацій та образності, визначення й обґрунтування явища збереження назв. Спостережено, що в живому говірковому мовленні постійно відбуваються поновлення форм і семантики, поява нових мотивацій, усе ж від покоління до покоління передаються знання, народне розуміння історії творення цих мовних формул. На ґрунті метафоризованого переосмислення явищ витворилися фраземи, що засвідчують своєрідність мислення та світобачення етносу, побудованих на національних світоглядних принципах. Цінність етнолінгвістичних коментарів полягає також у фіксації локальних варіантів різних мовних одиниць, що дозволить дослідити динамічні процеси в межах говору та української мови загалом.

The relevance of the research of ethnolinguistic comments (compilers of dictionaries, speakers of dialects, etc.) on proverbs and sayings, phrasemes, and fixed comparisons is based on the search for patterns of creation and use of these linguistic units, clarification of the mesanism of construction and use of these secondary semiotic systems, their ability to “keep” archaisms, historicisms, ethnographisms even in the case of loss of rituals, customs, etc., and the possibility of realizing of understanding and characterizing the processes of life. In the article the types of comments on paroemias and phrasemes made by compilers of various types of dictionaries, folklorists, and finally, by native speakers of dialects, who explain the origin or meaning of fixed expressions through autocomments in coherent texts have been examined. The lexicographical works of the Ukrainian language, collections of dialect texts of different time periods reflect the entire conceptual and logical system of the surrounding real world as understood by the ethnic group. Comments in dictionary entries, detailed descriptions of the history of paroemia or phrasemes in texts through stories, anecdotes, etc., as well as stories about elements of rites and customs, warnings, taboos, and signs are an important source for researching folk understanding of the ways in which these linguistic units were created, their motivations and imagery, and the definition and justification of the phenomenon of name preservation. It has been observed that in living colloquial speech, forms and semantics are constantly being renewed, new motivations are emerging, and yet knowledge and folk understanding of the history of these language formulas creation are passed down from generation to generation. On the basis of a metaphorical rethinking of phenomena, phraseological units have been created that testify to the originality of the ethnic group’s thinking and worldview, based on national ideological principles. The value of ethnolinguistic commentaries also lies in recording local variants of various linguistic units, which will allow us to study dynamic processes within the dialect and the Ukrainian language as a whole.
