Створення доступного освітнього середовища та використання адаптивних технологій для студентів з особливими освітніми потребами в закладах вищої освіти

Abstract

Метою статті є виявлення основних проблем, що постають перед студентами з особливими освітніми потребами у ЗВО, та оцінка ефективності технологічних рішень для створення інклюзивного середовища. Методи досліджень: аналіз і синтез наукової літератури; емпіричний метод через вивчення досвіду. Розглянуто питання створення інклюзивного освітнього середовища у закладах вищої освіти для студентів із особливими освітніми потребами. Акцент зроблено на застосуванні адаптивних технологій, що забезпечують доступність навчального процесу для студентів з порушенням зору. Проаналізовано функціональні можливості дисплеїв і принтерів Брайля, програмного забезпечення для озвучення тексту та мультимедійних навчальних ресурсів, а також їхній вплив на академічну успішність і соціалізацію студентів. Практичну значущість дослідження розкрито на основі аналізу діяльності Ресурсного центру з інклюзивної освіти Львівського національного університету імені Івана Франка. Охарактеризовано технічне забезпечення центру, методичну підтримку студентів із порушеннями зору, адаптацію навчальних матеріалів, а також заходи, спрямовані на підвищення рівня обізнаності викладачів щодо особливостей інклюзивного навчання. Результати дослідження засвідчили ефективність комплексного підходу, що поєднує використання сучасних адаптивних технологій, методичний супровід та соціальну інтеграцію студентів із порушеннями зору. Визначено перспективні напрями розвитку інклюзивної освіти, серед яких інтеграція штучного інтелекту, удосконалення тактильних дисплеїв, розширення мобільних технологій та міжнародної співпраці у сфері інклюзивного навчання.

The aim of the article is to identify the main problems faced by students with special educational needs in higher education institutions and to assess the effectiveness of technological solutions for creating an inclusive environment. Research methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature; empirical method through the study of experience. The article considers the issue of creating an inclusive educational environment in higher education institutions (HEIs) for students with special educational needs. The emphasis is on the use of adaptive technologies that ensure the accessibility of the educational process for students with visual impairments. The functional capabilities of Braille displays and printers, text-to-speech software, and multimedia educational resources are analyzed, as well as their impact on academic success and socialization of students. The practical significance of the study is revealed based on the analysis of the activities of the Resource Center for Inclusive Education of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The technical support of the center, methodological support for students with visual impairments, adaptation of educational materials, as well as measures aimed at increasing the level of awareness of teachers about the features of inclusive education are characterized. The results of the study demonstrated the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach that combines the use of modern adaptive technologies, methodological support, and social integration of students with visual impairments. Promising directions for the development of inclusive education have been identified, including the integration of artificial intelligence, the improvement of tactile displays, the expansion of mobile technologies, and international cooperation in the field of inclusive education. One of the promising areas is the development of methodological materials and programs for improving teaching skills for teachers of higher education institutions who work with students with special educational needs. In particular, it is advisable to create specialized training, interactive manuals, and recommendations covering the issues of using adaptive technologies, organizing the educational process taking into account the principles of universal design, as well as effective communication with individuals with special educational needs.
