| Abstract: | У статті розглядається праця німецького вченого П. Нідермюллера, в якій теоретично обґрунтовується перспектива європейської етнології нового формату. Погоджуючись із висновками теоретика про те, що час традиційної культури фактично вже минув, водночас автор вважає, що національні етнографії та етнології не вичерпали свій потенціал і мають право на існування. Щоправда, для цього слід провести певні реформи стосовно теоретичних і методологічних засад дисциплін. Загалом автор відстоює думку про передчасність творення нової науки європейської етнології. Ключові слова: Ethnologia Europaea, національні етнографії, традиції науки, традиційна культура та маскультура, методи і методологія, предмет та об'єкт дослідження. |
| Description: | This paper deals with the work of the German scientist P. Nidermyuller, which is theoretically justified by the prospect of European Ethnology new format. While agreeing with the conclusions theorist that the traditional culture has actually expired, despite it the author believes that national ethnography and ethnology are not exhausted their potential and have their place. However this should carry out certain reforms in the theoretical and methodological foundations of disciplines. Overall, the author defends the idea that we should not hurry with the creation of a new European Ethnology.
