| Abstract: | Плазуни ряду Testudines - черепахи - одна з найбільш вразливих і загрозливих груп наземних хребетних тварин. Випадки їх інвазії або реінтродукції одиничні і мають лише локальне значення. Однак є і яскравий виняток. Червоновуха прісноводна черепаха, Trachemys scripta elegans (Wied 1839), не тільки проявляє виражену тенденцію до експансії в регіоні її природного ареалу в Північній Америці, але і проникає в останні десятиліття в фауну все нових країн на всіх континентах. Новітні дані про появу червоновухих черепах в дикій природі у Прибалтиці, наявність виду у Росії та наші знахідки червоновухих черепах у Виноградівському районі Закарпатської області вказують на актуальність цієї проблеми і для фауни України. | Description: | Reptiles of the order Testudines – turtles – are one of the most vulnerable and threatened groups of terrestrial vertebrate animals. The instances of their invasion or reintroduction are isolated and have only local importance. However, there is a bright exclusion. Slider turtle, Trachemys scripta elegans, does not only express a marked tendency to expansion in the region of its natural range in North America, but also penetrates into the fauna of new and new countries on all continents in the latest decades. The latest information about the appearance chervonovuhyh turtles in the wild in, the presence of species in Russia, our findings in the species Vynogradovo location of the Transcarpathian region indicate the urgency of this problem also for the fauna of Ukraine.
