Екологічна освіта студентів педагогічних вишів у країнах Західної Європи

Abstract

У статті окреслено основні тенденції розвитку екологічної освіти студентів педагогічних вишів у країнах Західної Європи, зокрема в Німеччині, Франції, Великобританії, Данії. Розглянуто принципи, форми та методи екологічної освіти майбутніх педагогів. Визначено перспективні можливості використання позитивного європейського досвіду екологічної освіти в українській вищій школі. Встановлено можливість використання ідей європейської практики, зокрема форм та методів неформальної екологічної освіти, екологізація педагогічної практики, використання нових методів і технологій навчання та інші.

The article deals with the students’ ecology education in pedagogical universities of countries of Western Europe. The theoretical foundations of ecology education establishment abroad have been elucidated; the principles, forms and methods of future teachers’ ecology education in Germany, France, Great Britain, and Denmark have been determined; the trends of ecology education development in European countries have been defi ned. The perspective ideas of European experience in ecology education that are worth to be implemented in Ukrainian higher education have been identifi ed. They are the following: providing more credits to ecology courses, professional and practical orientation of all ecology courses, introduction of ecological content in various disciplines (interdisciplinary approach), the use of forms and methods of non-formal ecology education, as well as interactive learning methods and technologies, ecology orientation of pedagogical practice (lessons, educational activities on environmental issues, environmental projects) and others. It is important to provide ecological education for young people during their teaching practice in schools where students establish school meteorological station, as well as fi eld training centers with numerous programmes of environmental training and education.
