Засоби моделювання образу Сави Чалого в однойменній драмі М. Костомарова

Abstract

У статті розглядаються засоби моделювання постаті Сави Чалого в однойменній трагедії М. Костомарова. Модель образу зіставляється із фольклорною та літературною інтерпретаціями цього персонажа. Письменник утілює в Саві Чалому свій ідеал, в якому моральні проблеми поєднано з героїчними рисами. Драматург осмислив важливу тему вірності й зради, вмотивувавши дії персонажа, й порушив актуальну проблему відповідальності за свої вчинки.При цьому митець проектує особисті взаємини на історичний та соціальний простір. Основні засоби творення характеру Сави Чалого аналізуються на сюжетно-образному рівні, з урахуванням родо-жанрової специфіки тексту. Значна увага приділяється вивченню поведінки та вчинків героя під впливом певних життєвих ситуацій. Досліджується і мова персонажа (діалоги та монологи). М. Костомаров зумів надати національній драмі історіософського звучання й глибокого психологізму, оригінально відтворити складні історичні протиріччя, створити новий тип героя, що суттєво відрізнявся від відомих в українській драматургії. Means of modeling the figure of Sava Chalyi in the tragedy under the same heading by M. Kostomarov are analyzed in the article. The model of the character of Sava Chalyi is comparing with folklore and literal interpretation of this figure. The author embodies his ideal in the image of Sava Chalyi. In this character moral problems are connected with heroic features. The playwright rethought the important topic of faithfulness and treachery and made the actions of the hero purposeful. He also touched actual problem of responsibility for the actions. In this case the artist designs a personal relationship to the historic and social space. The main means of creating the character of the hero are analyzed on the plot level. The genre specifics of the text are also taken into consideration. The main attention is focused on investigation of the hero’s behavior and deeds in different life situations. The language of the character is also analyzed (dialogues and monologues). M. Kostomarov could bring historic and philosophic features and deep psychology into this national drama. He could depict complex historical contradictions; create a new type of a character which is very different from famous heroes in Ukrainian drama. famous heroes in Ukrainian drama.
