Параметри зв’язкової валентності для зв’язків Ga – Se

Abstract

Нами здійснено рентгенівський фазовий аналіз (РФА) синтезованих зразків бінарної системи Ga–Se. У статті подано одержаний нами цікавий побічний науковий матеріал, котрий стосувався кристалохімічного аналізу сполук в системі Ga–Se і може бути використаний при вивченні інших кристалічних структур, що містять хімічний зв’язок Ga–Se.

The bond valence parameters r₀ = 2.305 Å and b = 0.37 Å have been determined for the Ga — Se chemical bonds, including the bonds formed by the Ga³⁺ and Ga²⁺ cations with the Se²⁻ anions. Using the determined r₀ and b parameters, the correctness of the crystal structure models reported earlier by different group of authors for the monoclinic Ga₂Se₃ phase has been successfully checked within the framework of the bond valence model, and the poorly determined model has been detected. It has also been shown that the crystal structures of the GaSe polytypes can be successfully validated by using the above set of the bond valence parameters.
