Особливості організації та функціонування післядипломної освіти соціальних працівників у США

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано особливості сучасного етапу функціонування післядипломної освіти соціальних працівників у США. Встановлено, що її функціонування на сучасному етапі характеризується такими особливостями: існування різних видів і форм організації; диференціація змісту на основі навчальних, професійних та пізна- вальних можливостей, запитів і потреб соціальних працівників; впровадження інноваційних технологій навчання та одиниць безперервної освіти; побудова стратегії розвитку післядипломної освіти на основі партнерства та взаємодії її основних учасників. The article deals with peculiarities of social work continuing education at the current stage of its functioning in the United States. It is characterized by the following features: the existence of different types and forms of organization; differentiation of educational, professional and educational opportunities, demands and needs of social workers; implementation of innovative learning technologies and units of continuing education; construction of continuing education, which is based on partnership and interaction of its main stakeholders. Continuing education should not be seen as an extra in comparison with the basic professional education. It should be viewed as systematic, consistent, progressive, the basis for which is basic, formal education. A necessary condition for the building of national system of social work continuing education is a consolidation of all its stakeholders. According to the carried out analysis of literature and teaching documents the main types of continuing education of social workers in the US are: formal training activities, professional meetings, individual training.
